#VSSportTester product review

As I have mentioned in earlier blogs I am a member of Influenster. I receive products from them for free for testing purposes. However, the thoughts and opinions are my own.

My latest Voxbox from Influenster was the #VSSportBra box. Yes Im a #VSSportTester and I got to test out a new Victoria Secret Sport bra. Before this I had been familiar with their Sport line but didn't have any of their bras. For workouts Id wear a Victoria Secret bra and a sport bra over to keep the girls from jumping out. Not the view Id wanna give the guys at the gym.

Thanks to this trial I got to test the "INCREDIBLE"  Sport bra. So whats so great about the bra you may ask?

* Maximum support

*Breathable padding with wicking liner to keep you extra dry

*Concealed wire for cushioned support

*Padded straps and bonded, seamless technology that eliminates irritation

*Super-soft elastic band for comfort & movement

*Cushioned, adjustable back closure

*Body-Wick keeps you cool & dry

*Perfect for running, boxing and cardio

Now after reading that your thinking so how did it do? I have already wore it three times to work out. Once was hiking, once for yoga, and the last, the real test running. I have to say during yoga I was able to move without fear of falling out and the back stayed put. It didn't roll up like some bras do. Now what about the run? I was able to jog and also run at full speed without falling out of the bra. I also didn't have that "The girls are going to hit me in the face" feel like some bras have. Plus the material left me feeling drier and cooler. Not sticky and stuck to my body. In all this was an amazing product and I cant wait to get another bra. Maybe the Knockout Sports bra next.

This is a sponsored blog post. Influenster provided me with complimentary Victoria's Secret products to test and review as part of a contest!

Getting Free stuff 101 the revised edition

Now I wanna save all my Divas time and money so I'm going to let you in on the companies I get free products from. Now it's not gonna cost you money but it may cost you a little time. Most companies send me free products to test however I do have to usually fill out a survey or write a short review. But it's not hard and all it cost nothing. Plus a lot of sites you can get to on a smartphone. So when you are at dentist waiting on your child or at their soccer practice. You can do the survey.

The companies I've worked with, or have tried are Vocal Point, Smiley 360, Influenster, Crowdtap, Buzzagent, and She Speaks. Now I have only been with most of these companies three months or less.  I have been with them a couple of months. I have responded to a couple of topics just to get a feel about the company. So far I've received two different promos. I have gotten a couple of boxes of root touch up hair color. And I was able to try and received before it came out 2 full size products of the new Secret Clinical Strength deodorants. Since I wrote this blog I have not received any free products. However, I did join Orgullosa, which is a Latino based version. More details after I work with them. I have been offered a couple of promos with them that I didn't accept. Due to them being a topic I wasn't that familiar with. But the two that I did so far were for Greenies dental chews for dogs and Airborne gummys. Both were full size products! I do get a lot of surveys to be a tester but it was things I don't use, cold sore meds and hemorrhoid wipes. I did recently get one for soap that I was able to join in. Smiley also throws Twitter parties so if you join they will give you the info to those. So far I have to say I'm not sure I'm doing this site correctly. I've earned the badges, which means doing surveys and reviews. However, I haven't qualified for a box. I also have done four Twitter parties and didn't qualify with that either. So when I wrote this blog 6mths ago I wasn't sure how I felt about recommending them. However, after reading a comment from a member I found out you have to review products and answer questions about the products before you get a box. So that great Revlon lipstick you like, that new shampoo you got or maybe a healthy snack you buy, write a short review about it. The higher my badges got the more boxes I got. Im on my 4th since Jan and it was a brand new Victoria Secret Sport bra to test. Not all boxes are that big but all contain little goodies geared toward what you said on your surveys.  It does involve a lot of time on their site "tapping", sending pictures of items and joining in discussions. But every month you can earn gift cards. In the three months I was with them I product tested two foods and won 3 gift cards of $5 each! Since then I haven't done any product tests because I have not been chosen but have gotten a few more gift cards. The best being a $10 Sephora card. Also I won at one of their Twitter parties 5 bottles of body wash and a $25 gift card.

I actually recommend getting Klout as I stated in other blogs! It's free and so far I've earned 5 perks. Two bottles of Vita Frute, Real techniques makeup brushes, Blowfish for hangovers, Freeman facial masks, a People magazine Vip box and subscription, and Ricola. And with Klout all you do is sign up your social media accounts. No surveys or anything!

Hopefully this will save my Divas some time and you will earn some free stuff for yourself.

Twitter Parties 101: A quick how to

Quite a lot of my friends keep asking me how do I keep winning such random stuff? And yes it is random, Skincare, giftcards, Scrapbooking supplies and even pet treats. As you may know I'm out of work and in pain a lot. So I need to find something to keep me busy even in my bed most the day.. The answer was Twitter parties!

So what is a Twitter party/ Twitter Chat? A Twitter party is usually a chat lasting an hour on Twitter, hosted by a blogger or company. There are questions and answers. For the most part the questions are about you and your family. I've only been to a handful of parties you needed stats or trivia answers to respond correctly. And those usually have given a link to the correct answer. And winners are usually picked randomly. It takes a while for you to get use to the pace of the parties. For me I won a prize after about 5 or 10 parties. But then I was hooked.

So you wanna try? First thing you need is a Twitter account. Http:// is the website.

You can also find Twitter in the App Store or google play. Just sign up with a name you will like. I also recommend you make it something family friendly. I'm not saying you won't win a prize if you have profanity in your name but why risk it?

So you have gotten your Twitter name? Now what?  Find a few friends you know by posting your link on Facebook or whatever social media you like to use. Just don't try and follow 1000 new people in the hopes to have a large following. Start slow. So now that you have an account and maybe some followers, what to do? Tweet! But what to tweet about? Anything you like. Just say Hi! Tweet about what your doing. Or retweet something you find interesting.

So after you've gotten the hang of tweeting. Start partying! First thing you can do is find me. I always tweet the parties I'm attending. Find me on Twitter at:Http://

I always add back who follows me too☺️ So what if you looking for more Twitter parties? Maybe the ones I'm attending don't fit your interest or schedual. Google is your friend...Just google search Twitter parties. There are some great sites with lists of upcoming parties. And others that offer other info on how they work.

Ok so let's say you found a party that is about a subject or brand you love. Then what? Most parties have an RSVP page. So RSVP! Most will ask your name and URL. You name is usually your Twitter handle, eg @chidivaonadime. And your URL is your Twitter URL for example Some parties no RSVP is needed you just jump into a party with a hashtag. What's a hashtag? It's a # symbol followed by the name of the party. Example #ShoppingIsFun All you would do is make sure all your Tweets end with #shoppingIsFun! Most parties even the ones you RSVP with require you to end your tweets with their hashtags. Usually on the RSVP or event page it will explain the rules. It's a good idea to follow the hosts too. If you forget just make sure you follow the host. He/she will probably mention the cohosts at the beginning of the party.

Then all you have to do is follow along with your hashtag. There are many sites you can do this with. Some parties even will tell you on the event page what site you can use to follow along with. So just jump in and have fun! Hope to be partying with you soon.

Fabulous and fatigued: Under 35 and living with Fibromyalgia

If your wondering where I've been. Ive been having a Fibromyalgia flare up. For those who don't know. Almost a year ago I was diagnosed as having Fibromyalgia at the age of 33. I had fallen and started having pain. However, I thought the Doctor was wrong. How could I being so young have this disease? Especially after reading the symptoms, I thought that cant be me.  I just have back pain but as I paid more and more attention to my body I noticed I had quite a lot of the symptoms. As time progressed so did my symptoms. I went from pain to insomnia to chronic pain to hair loss and just hurting all over.
I think the biggest misconception is people say is: "well you look ok". Of course I do! Its not like Fibro is a rash everyone can see. Its inside your body, which makes some people doubt the severity. At least for me on a bad day. It hurts worst then the 2 days of labor I was in for my son. Trust me its that BAD!!!
Whats worst is I have lost touch with many friends because I was embarrassed to tell them how bad it was. I mean before the Fibro I was out every weekend being a social butterfly then the fibro came and I became a recluse.  Of course my financial situation didnt help either. But now that Im starting to, realize Im stuck with the Fibro I guess I'll just have to change how I live differently.
Im just having a hard time with the way people see me. I even had one Doctor tell me I must be better then I let on because I was wearing makeup. I felt pain that day but I was had a mild amount so I did my makeup. What takes me 5 minutes would take others 20. I've been doing it for years so I can do it quickly. And once in a while its nice to try and fix yourself up. Sheesh! Of course by the end of the day because of that trip to the Doctor, I was in bed with horrible pain.
As far as my outlook on getting better? I'm impatient as they come. And nothing is working but hopefully soon something will work. I try and be optimistic at least that's what Im going to say to the public. Ok Ive babbled enough for now.

Dove Advanced Care deodorant

As a member of Influencer I received the Dove Vox box. So what was in my Vox box you may ask? It was Dove Advanced care deodorant with nutrium moisture. I was wondering what the big deal about the moisturizer was. I mean it is for your arm pits. Well what I didnt know is 36% of what you remove when you shave is skin. WHAT? Over a 1/3 of that is skin you mean? Wow!
So after shaving I started using the Dove and I have to say my skin looks smoother and after. And now after 3 shavings I do notice a difference. Its amazing how great it looks. Thank you dove and Influencer.
