#VSSportTester product review

Image
As I have mentioned in earlier blogs I am a member of Influenster. I receive products from them for free for testing purposes. However, the thoughts and opinions are my own.      My latest Voxbox from Influenster was the #VSSportBra box. Yes Im a #VSSportTester and I got to test out a new Victoria Secret Sport bra. Before this I had been familiar with their Sport line but didn't have any of their bras. For workouts Id wear a Victoria Secret bra and a sport bra over to keep the girls from jumping out. Not the view Id wanna give the guys at the gym.      Thanks to this trial I got to test the "INCREDIBLE"  Sport bra. So whats so great about the bra you may ask? * Maximum support *Breathable padding with wicking liner to keep you extra dry *Concealed wire for cushioned support *Padded straps and bonded, seamless technology that eliminates irritation *Super-soft elastic band for comfort & movement *Cushioned, adjusta...

Skincare Sunday: BlogADay January 5th

Image
Keeping with the theme of my Sexy Saturday blog, Skincare Sunday will help with dry skin. As you know most people suffer with dry skin in the winter. I do for one! A few months ago as a Klout perk I received a sample of Freeman Beauty masks. I loved them all but the one that I just HAD TO HAVE was the  Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask. I do have to say as soon as I seen the Allure Best of beauty award on the package I was intrigued. A product that retails for about $3.99 getting an award? It made my inner Frugal fashionista dance the salsa.      So how did it work? Amazing! I have to agree with Allure. The grainy scrub made my skin feel Summer soft in the dead of winter. I even used a bit of the scrub with my bodywash to get rid of my dry skin on my legs. If it wasn't Below zero I'd have worn a skirt that's how great my legs felt. I now have a new go to facial scrub. So check out this item from Freeman beauty and all their other gr...

Airborne: My wintertime product review

Image
I received a free bottle of Airborne from Smiley 360 for reviewing their product! The product I got was in the form of a gummy. Which is great, no water needed! The three flavors in the jar are citrus, mixed berry, and grapefruit. They all have a tangy sour flavor. But not too sour.      Now why is Airborne great? It comes in 3 great ways to take them. Gummy, chewable, and effervescent! Plus it boosts your immune system. And eating 3 gummies is a lot easier then taking a huge vitamin C pill to get my 1000mg. Especially during the busy holiday season. My son who is 14 tried and loved the gummies so I will be buying more. He could use all the immune support he can get but can't we all?😊 Thank you for stopping by and checkin out my review.

Secret Clinical Strength in 2 new secret formulas

Image
As a member of Vocalpoint I received two of the newest Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/ deodorants. They are the invisable solid and the clear gel. Both came in the "Completly clean" scent.  The scent is a clean, fresh scent with a hint of floral. It's great, not over powering!       I have to say I usually buy solid deodorants but I got both to try. Both worked well! I am currently on a medication that leaves me sweaty. I mean wet underarm stain sweaty. Ok I know! A little too much info. But before the meds I would use any deodorant because I wasn't really sweating. Even when I hit the gym it wasn't a big deal. Now that it really matters I use the Secret clinical strength and I stayed dry. All day without unsightly stains. It's amazing! I never thought of trying "Clinical strength" but now it's the only brand I'll be using.      Now on to the two types I received, the gel and the solid. Like I said earlier I do prefer t...

Simple Skincare: My experiences with the line

Image
It seems I keep blogging about health and beauty lines. Honestly, that wasn't my intention to talk only about those products but it happened. Hey I'm a girly girl who loves makeup 💅💆💄💎      So what am I talking about now?Simple Skincare, which I won gift bags of from a Twitter party.Simple Skincare is a fairly new line. I did own two of their packs of facial wipes before winning a gift bags. So I now own three different types of the Simple Skincare wipes, exfoliating, cleansing, and radiance. The Exfoliating wipes were my least favorite of the three. They are a little too rough for my eye area. I did like using them on my forehead that seems to get dry especially in the fall winter. But even on my cheeks they seemed a little too rough after I applied pressure. The cleansing and radiance wipes are similar in texture, however different in formula. The cleaning ones are for exactly that, cleaning your face. They are great for makeup removal EVEN masca...

Truvia: product review

I received 2 sample packets of Truvia to Test for a company called Crowdtap. For those who don't know Truvia is a sugar substitute. And if you didn't know I'm currently dieting so this was a great opportunity for me to try something I can use. I mean I love sugar but don't need all the extra calories.       Since I'm not familiar with the taste I decided to test it in my morning coffee! The other packet went to my best friend who is an avid coffee drinker but uses another sugar substitute. So how did the Truvia stand up?      I tried Truvia in my morning coffee. I did need both packets to sweeten my coffee. But the coffee tasted great! I have tried a few other brands of sugar substitute and I find this to not have an odd aftertaste like some. So I guess you can say I'm sold on a new Sugar substitute. Thanks for reading my Babble and have a nice day!

Loreal Magic Nude review and other Loreal products I won!

Image
During a recent Twitter party I won three months of Magic Nude foundation from Loreal and She Speaks. Yes that's 3 bottles of foundation! Also in my prize pack was Voluminous Million Lashes mascara, Colour Riche Le gloss lip gloss,  Colour Riche eye shadow quad, and two nail colors.      Well as you may know I'm huge on Makeup so this was an awesome prize. And I love Loreal! So what did I think about the Magic Nude liquid powder foundation? I loved it! It does what it says it goes on when and drys like a powder. I didn't even need to put any powder on after if was done. Which is what I normally do. On days that I don't wanna put on my makeup. I just apply this and a little concealer and go! My skin looks flawless! I get so many complements on my skin. It's a great feeling! And I'm honest with people and say thank you but it's all makeup lol.       Now on to the makeup. The eyeshadow I was given was the Blue Haute Couture from the Colour Riche line...

IPhone Vs Galaxy: A Non-techies review!

Let me first say that I do love new phones, tablets and the latest technology. But when it comes to reviews I get lost in them. Snapdragon, gingerbread, a processor with numbers as confusing as pi. 3.14159 bet you didn't know I could remember that! Haha! But in all seriousness I just wanna know will it do what I need to. And I don't mean just calls and text. If that was the case we would all still have those sturdy Nokia phones we had ten years ago.       So what do I need a phone to do for me? EVERYTHING! I mean if it could cook dinner I'd marry it. Ok single girl problem. Lol! But in all seriousness I need a phone to take pictures, hold all the apps I need and there are a lot. Plus not freeze up when I'm doing multiple tasks. Don't get me wrong I've never met a phone I couldn't freeze up at least occasionally. I multitask like crazy. My phone needs to move as fast as my brain. Which some days feels like it has ADD. Texting and all of a sudden I ...
