Chicago Diva On A Dime

     If your wondering where I've been. Ive been having a Fibromyalgia flare up. For those who don't know. Almost a year ago I was diagnosed as having Fibromyalgia at the age of 33. I had fallen and started having pain. However, I thought the Doctor was wrong. How could I being so young have this disease? Especially after reading the symptoms, I thought that cant be me.  I just have back pain but as I paid more and more attention to my body I noticed I had quite a lot of the symptoms. As time progressed so did my symptoms. I went from pain to insomnia to chronic pain to hair loss and just hurting all over.      I think the biggest misconception is people say is: "well you look ok". Of course I do! Its not like Fibro is a rash everyone can see. Its inside your body, which makes some people doubt the severity. At least for me on a bad day. It hurts worst then the 2 days of labor I was in for my son. Trust me its that BAD!!!   ...

     Im not sure how much detail im going to go in. I had a problem with my phone and took the whole night to fix. So Im a day late. Well Monday I went to my Doctor whos in downtown Chicago. I wont go into details but he left me feeling hopeful about my pain. After that I stopped at Gharets and picked up popcorn. If you live in Chicago you know the Chicago mix is awesome. If your not from Chicago, Chicago mix is cheese and caramel popcorn. And theirs is the best.      After coming home I napped, helped with algebra homework and ate dinner. Dinner was leftover chili. I also got a new phone. Its an LG G2. I hate it and im probably getting the Galaxy S5 when it comes out :) The problem I had was the phone didnt activate right and I had net but no calls and texts. And it was after business hours. But I did manage to fix it. Well that was my Monday.

    So if you were wondering why I haven't posted many pieces of jewelry on Etsy?...I have a ton of earrings but its pretty time consuming to take the pictures. Who would have thought I'd find that the hardest part of the creative process? But I'm not being lazy by all means I remade all my earrings with sterling silver earwires.Per a suggestion by another Etsy member.     And when I wasn't busy with that I was turning my basement into a mini studio. I'd prefer something cute in Bucktown. But this will do for now.  Oh and celebrating my child's 8th grade Graduation. Yay!..So there is a major overhaul at Chicago Diva On A Dime going on.  Cant wait to take pictures of my new studio. And of course take more pictures of my fabulous jewelry.
