     Quite a lot of my friends keep asking me how do I keep winning such random stuff? And yes it is random, Skincare, giftcards, Scrapbooking supplies and even pet treats. As you may know I'm out of work and in pain a lot. So I need to find something to keep me busy even in my bed most the day.. The answer was Twitter parties!      So what is a Twitter party/ Twitter Chat? A Twitter party is usually a chat lasting an hour on Twitter, hosted by a blogger or company. There are questions and answers. For the most part the questions are about you and your family. I've only been to a handful of parties you needed stats or trivia answers to respond correctly. And those usually have given a link to the correct answer. And winners are usually picked randomly. It takes a while for you to get use to the pace of the parties. For me I won a prize after about 5 or 10 parties. But then I was hooked.      So you wanna try? First thing you need is a Twitter...

   Lately I've keep getting the question of how do keep earning free stuff? Well if you read my previous blog I decided to try my hand at Twitter parties. For those who don't know what that is: it's a chat on Twitter, usually lasting an hour. Most have prizes. Some range from gift cards to gifts from the sponcers of the event.    At first I was intimated by the parties. I just started working on my Blog and I didn't know a thing about Twitter parties. I had this blogger site for years but honestly I didn't know what to write about. Which is odd because I never shut up.       So after a couple of weeks and about half a dozen Twitter parties I won something but not something little but 11 gift bags with products from Simple Skincare. I had bought their wipes but was not familiar with the rest of the line. I had seen it but didn't try it. I have just started using my bag of Simple yesterday. I will review them after a week of use in another blog. ...

     As some of you know I'm a Twitter addict. Yes, I'll admit it! I feel free to say what I want there...In 140 characters or less. Lol! That's an amazing feat for me. As you may know I tend to talk a lot. Or as I call it Beba babble (Beba is my nickname fyi)      So this week I decided to try my hand at Twitter parties. Sounds like a great idea. I interact and answer questions for major companies and earn prizes. I was so excited. My goal was 2 parties. I liles them so much I did 5. I am out of work and have the time.I won't mention the companies I did them for. But they were of a varied subject matter. I did technology, skin care, family, and household products.  However, I didn't win a prize. Maybe I went into it thinking I'm for sure to win a prize. Which was a bad idea! I'm there for the interaction, fun, helpful tips and meeting new Tweeps. Yes I call my twitter friends Tweeps.lol... I'm gonna continue to try these Twitter parties and...

     First if I didn't say it before get yourself a Klout account. You link all of your social media accounts to it. Personally my Klout score is pretty good. I do tweet a lot. I have about 1000 followers and do try and interact with people and companies...      Klout also issues "perks" to people depending on their score. I think over 55 and your in perkable territory. Is perkable a word? I'm not sure but it works for me. Anyway, this is where you wanna be gaining perks. So far I've gained 2 bottles of Veev Vita Frute, cocktails. Samples of Blowfish for hangovers. Hmmm maybe they were afraid id over do it on the free cocktails? Also I'm waiting on a makeup brush set from Real Techniques to host a mini girls night in and try. So when I say try klout I mean it.      For those who don't know me and just stumbled across my blog. I am an average woman who got into social media to help a friend promote their business...Now three years later I no longer promote much but I still Tweet my butt off. Why is Twitter so addicting to me? Well I can babble about whatever I choose. I feel if I did that on Facebook my family and close friends would think I'm nuts.
